HLTC v Harrow School – Saturday 2 May 2026

I am delighted to report that on this beautiful sun filled afternoon our gents played a brilliant match against the School for the Harrow Cup. 24 players, 12 pairs, pitted their wits and abilities against a very strong team with nailbiting final sets going mostly against HLTC. Spectators were spellbound by the talent and skill on display as they munched their way through sandwiches and cakes supplied by the School.

Determination and courage carried our players through concluding in a 59-point win to HLTC over 58-points to the School.

A great team a great afternoon of tennis tightly fought in the best of humour and in a truly competitive spirit. HLTC won the afternoons game by just 1 set. A big thank you to Dan who was a huge help in getting players out on the day and Peter & Jeoff HLTC friends from Kenton TC who helped us out in our final hour. A great result. Thank you to all players and spectators who all contributed in making the event so enjoyable.
